I have been using Slack on my Apple Watch since I got it in October. I had an iPhone 8 and now just moved to a new iPhone X. When I synced my watch to the new phone the Slack app is not there. I went into the Apple Watch app on my iPhone. The app is not listed in the My Watch section. When I go to the search and search for Slack it is not there to choose. But I used it on my Apple Watch with my 8. Am I doing something wrong? I really need to be able to use Slack on my Apple Watch.
Notifications will always be presented on the Apple Watch, even without an official app. Essentially the same functions of a notification on the iPhone are presented on the Watch, so you can reply or dismiss from there. Slack’s Watch app will let you read and reply to your most recent direct messages and keep track of unread mentions. You’ll be able to cherrypick a preselected response or dictate your own quick.
